We provide comprehensive guidance—from proposal development and negotiation to implementation, monitoring, and reporting—ensuring full compliance with both institutional and donor requirements.

Accountable to the Office of the Vice President for Research and Collaboration, we promote transparency, efficiency, and synergy across all partnerships. This enhances the university’s capacity to attract and sustain impactful collaborations that drive innovation, knowledge exchange, and institutional growth.

Our Key Roles

Partnership Development and Strategy

• Enhance the university’s role in building strategic partnerships with local and global businesses, industries, communities, and the public sector. These collaborations are channelled to support curriculum development and enrich the teaching-learning process.
• Establish a foundation to increase revenue from collaborative projects and research grants, thereby reducing dependence on public funding for research and professional practice.

Project Facilitation and Management

• Facilitate the active participation of all stakeholders to ensure collaborative projects are executed effectively.
• Monitor and support project implementation to ensure agreed-upon outcomes deliver positive community impact.
• Create and regularly update a comprehensive, university-wide database of all collaborative projects.

Capacity Building and Resource Mobilization

• Build staff capacity in networking, grant writing, and responding to global funding opportunities.
• Work to secure and diversify project funding, contributing directly to the university’s research revenue.
