Season's Greetings from Hawassa University President, Ethiopia

Dear International Partners, students, staff and alumni of Hawassa university,

This past year, we made significant strides towards our mission thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff, faculty, students and regional and global partners around the world!

As you know, Hawassa university is committed to advancing knowledge and innovation, nurturing internationally competent graduates, and engaging the community on issues of local, national and global significance.

We are also at a critical junction of transitioning to autonomous research university after fifty years of foundation as a public higher education institution in Ethiopia. We are very excited to celebrate Hawassa university's Golden Jubilee this coming year!

On this special holiday season, I would like to say, "Thank you for joining us in advancing global curiosity, understanding and engagement to our international Partners!
